Sunday,prep day.

Launch your boat at the Apex RiverBeach Caravan Park and anchor it on the sandbar, in front of the caravan park (next to boat ramp)
Drive to pre-organised secure parking in Mannum.
3pm = bus takes us back to Mildura, stopping ~5pm for dinner in Renmark. Arrive ApexRiverBeach ~ 9pm.

Security is watching the boats until morning.

Monday to Sunday, boating the river! Can arrive in Mannum when you like during the day, and one of our support team will ferry you to the secure parking.

If your boat were to have an issue we have a sweeper boat and vehicular ground support, with a mechanic on hand. Ground support will do what they can, including fetching parts from boat/auto shops in the area. Basically, we'll do our best to help you finish the rally.

In the unlikely event your boat/motor cannot be repaired, we'll get you to your car and trailer.

Food & Refreshments

Once we leave Wentworth on Day 1, you'll only need to carry enough food until Renmark, being 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners.

Renmark has a large IGA within walking distance of the main jetty, and from Renmark onwards there are plenty of small places to re-stock food and alcohol, or cafes and pubs to eat at.

Following Renmark it is possible to stop for lunch and dinner most days, with many pubs, cafes, bakeries, etc.

Renmark, Berri, Loxton, Moorook, Morgan, Blanchetown, Swan Reach, Walker Flat, Bowhill.

Iconic pubs:

The Woolshed Brewery, Murtho.
Overland Corner Hotel.
Commercial and Terminus hotels, Morgan.

Pretoria Hotel, Mannum

Supermarkets: Renmark, Loxton, Waikerie and Morgan, Mannum.

Being small riverside communities, all are on or near the riverfront.

Fuel

Distances between fuel stops:

100km: The longest stretch without fuel or services is the 190km between Wentworth (NSW) and Customs House (VIC/SA Border). At roughly the midway point near Lock 8 we’ll have a truck parked riverside carrying unleaded fuel, same price as Customs House. So you'll only need a 100km range.

90km: Riverside @ Customs House.

68km: Riverside @ Paringa (we'll arrange), or Renmark (700m walk)

78km or 118km: 78km Loxton (800m walk) or 118km Moorook (100m). Or 40km after Renmark get fuel at Berri (400m) then it's 80km to Moorook.

69km or 131: From Moorook; 69km to Waikerie (450m) or 131km riverside @ Morgan Marina.

74km: Swan Reach General Store (400m walk), from Morgan.

97km: Mannum.

If do you have a range of 171km, you'll never need to walk more than 100m.

If our ground support are not helping someone, they'll be at the stopping places to ferry people and their fuels cans to the servo.

Otherwise, a folding trolley is recommended to carry jerry cans.
